Emma attended the Center For Autism Education's Instructional Day Facility

After 13 years of serving students it is hard to pick just one student as a success, but Emma is truly amazing. Emma has attended the Instructional Day Facility for the last 8 years. During her time at school Emma has achieved the following:

  • Learned to communicate her needs and wants.
  • Worked several volunteer jobs in the community.
  • Attended her home school, Fort Zumwalt North High School.

Because of her hard work and parent’s support, Emma graduated last year and has transitioned to our Adult Day Services Facility. Since starting with the program Emma has already settled in to the new routine, made new friends, and learned some sign language.  She enjoys doing P.E. daily and especially likes community outings..

Do not just take our word for it. Like most stories, those told by those who are impacted directly are best. Below is how Dennis & Christine feel about Emma and her success with our staff!

Emma’s favorite place to be is the Center for Autism Education. She enjoys her structured schedule and the support of a caring and competent staff. We never worry when Emma is with CAE. At age 21, Emma continues to learn and grow every day. We are very proud of our daughter’s continuing success. Thank You CAE!!!!
