Adult Day Services

Serving adults who need a little extra support

The Center for Autism Education Day Services is an adult day program funded by the Department of Mental Health and provides services for individuals needing one on one or group support. Our program focuses on enhancing activities of daily living and social skills. Social interaction, communications skills, and community integration are the foundations of our efforts. Our staff is extensively trained to provide support, guidance, and commitment to individuals and to help them gain skills they can utilize for the rest of their lives. Daily living and social skills are an essential part of the services offered at our facility. Individuals learn how to perform tasks and interact in public settings through role playing and hands-on experience. Some skill building activities include: cleaning tasks, cooking/kitchen safety, hygiene, physical fitness, handling money, community outings, communication training and volunteering for not-for-profit businesses.

The program hours are from 9:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday
