Our Story

The Center for Autism Education is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2002. Our Founder, Amy Buie, was determined to open an agency that let individuals reach their fullest potential in all areas of life. To this day our agency continues to provide support to a variety of families and individuals in need. We have a school based program serving grades K-12 and an adult day program for adults 21 years of age and older.

Our Values

It all STARTs here:
At The Center for Autism Education, we live by five core values every day. These core values go beyond a piece of paper and just words, but they resound through the words, actions, and spirit of our staff, students, and partners.

  • Support
  • Trust
  • Achievement
  • Respect
  • Teamwork

Our Mission

The Mission of The Center for Autism Education is to assure that every child, family and adult that we serve is provided the highest quality training in functional skills and behavior intervention in a respectful, positive and safe learning environment so that all reach their fullest potential, becoming successful, happy, and contributing members of the community and society at large.
