All funds raised from this year’s Puzzle Race will go directly toward building a dedicated library and computer lab at CAE's Instructional Day Facility!

This exciting project involves the creation of a new library and computer lab, providing a dedicated space where our consumers can explore educational materials, build technology skills, and enjoy a calm, supportive environment designed to foster learning and growth. Your support will be instrumental in bringing this vision to life, enabling us to provide the tools and resources necessary to empower individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to reach their full potential.

Meet Our Puzzle Race Event Team!

Isabela Moron Cousins and Maya Chakrabartty, juniors at Clayton High School, are spearheading this event as part of their DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) marketing competition project. As Competition Resource Officers for their school’s DECA chapter, they are passionate about fostering leadership, creativity, and community impact through real-world projects. DECA equips students with skills in Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality, and this event is a testament to their dedication and innovation.

For this year’s project, Isabela and Maya partnered with The Center for Autism Education, drawn by personal connections and the center’s outstanding work with individuals living with autism and developmental disabilities. Their goal is to create a memorable event that not only supports the center’s mission but also brings the community together in a fun and meaningful way.

They are thrilled to bring the puzzle race to life and are excited about the positive impact it will have. The event promises to be a unique blend of fun, teamwork, and purpose, and Isabela and Maya can’t wait to see the community rally together to make a difference. Don’t miss this opportunity to support an incredible cause and be part of something special!
